Smoothies are a treat. We all love them and I try to make them often. A smoothie helps me add in extra nutrition in a fun way. We add in greens, omega oil, flax/protein powder. They also give me a chance to use up fruits and veggies that might not be perfect; wrinkled blueberries and less than crisp spinach. They taste fantastic since they are half fruit. They are cold, refreshing and filling!
